The Autonomous University of Chiapas is a public and autonomous Higher Education Institution, socially responsible and with a vocation for service; that comprehensively trains competent, critical, ethical professionals, with citizen and environmental awareness. UNACH generates, disseminates and applies scientific, technological and humanistic knowledge; spreads culture and art, promotes sports and extends its services, linked to society in local, national and international environments; with qualified personnel and relevant and quality educational programs, to contribute to sustainable development, social well-being, the culture of peace, democracy, equity and human rights.

The Autonomous University of Chiapas in 2030 is an institution recognized internationally for the professional and social performance of its graduates; its relevant and accredited educational programs; for the results of its scientific, humanistic and technological activity; its connection through collaboration and cooperation actions with organizations from the public, private and social sectors, with the guidance of the Institutional Educational Model and transparent and effective management, which promotes the development of Chiapas and Mexico.
